I'm not used to shopping on-line. How does this work?
This site uses paypal, which is a secure third-party site that brokers on-line payments. You can open a free account with paypal, and we will never see your bank or credit card information. Just click on the button and paypal will generate an invoice for you, and guide you through the checkout process. You will specify through paypal what address you would like us to ship to. If you would prefer to pay by cheque or International money order (US funds) you may email us a list of the items you wish to purchase and we will send you an invoice with the total cost of your order and our mailing address (also listed below). How soon will my order be shipped?
When your payment has cleared, we will ship your order as soon as possible - in the case of smaller orders and items, usually about a week. If your item or your order is larger and more complicated, it will take a bit longer to make up - you are always welcome to email us at orders@gottabeabice.com for an update on the status of your order.
Will I be notified that my order is on the way?
Yes, you will recieve an email telling you that your order has been shipped, and approximately how long before you should recieve it. We will also include a brief description of the package. Please make sure that we know what email address you would prefer us to send this notification to - if you have paid through paypal, your paypal address is our default emailing address unless you specify otherwise.
Do I have to pay extra for insurance on the package?
Up to $60.00 (US) worth of insurance is included in your shipping charges. If your order is larger and you wish to purchase extra insurance, please add $2.00(US) on to your total and specify that you are purchasing insurance.
Um, what does my package look like?
Very, very boring. We understand that you may be shy about receiving your package, no matter how much you may be looking forward to it! Your garments etc. will be wrapped in tissue paper and packaged in a plain box or envelope. Where required for customs or insurance purposes, the package will be identified as "novelty clothing", and the return address will read:
Can I have my packages gift-wrapped?
Of course! Everybody likes to receive gifts! Just check the box on your order form and for a small charge ($1.00 US) we will wrap your gift. You may contact us to specify whether you would like all or only some of your items wrapped, and if together or seperately. (The shipping container will still be very, very boring.)
